Dermal filler dissolving
Dermal filler dissolving, also known as filler reversal or removal, is a procedure to break down and remove hyaluronic acid-based fillers from the skin. This process typically involves injecting an enzyme called hyaluronidase into the area where the filler was placed. Hyaluronidase works by breaking down the hyaluronic acid molecules, allowing the body to naturally metabolize and eliminate the filler over time. This procedure is often used to correct overfilled or uneven areas, address complications, or reverse the effects of unwanted filler placement. Dermal filler dissolving is generally safe and effective, but it’s essential to consult with a qualified healthcare provider experienced in filler removal to discuss individual needs and expectations.
